Our areas of focus

We are a community based organisation striving to address multifaceted challenges within diverse landscapes. Consequently, we have identified several key areas of focus that are central to our mission.

Coordination

To be the umbrella, voluntary and coordinating body of all CAMPFIRE and natural resources producer communities in Zimbabwe.

Increasing awareness

To create public awareness through collation and dissemination of information on producer community conservation activities.

Pooling resources

To pool together resources for producer communities for community development and improvement of livelihoods.

Promoting
stakeholder engagement

We want to create a platform to engage various stakeholders, such as the government, Rural District Councils, and the private sector across different areas of interest. This includes creating an enabling policy and legislative environment that empowers communities in conservation and clarifying the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder.

Strengthen rights while building a strong voice

To represent the rights of producer communities at national, regional and international level, and constitute a strong and coordinated voice.
